Clinics
Emergency Clinic
* Runs each morning and starts at 10.30am. However, you may be asked to come to the surgery at a later time to avoid waiting if the clinic is particularly busy.
* Is led by Nurse Practitioners with GP support
* Is by allocated time slots depending on demand on the day - please ring as early as possible (definitely before 10.00am)
* Is for patients with urgent problems who genuinely cannot wait to be seen in a routine appointment
* May be attended by medical students
Non NHS Medical services
These include medicals for insurance purposes/taxi drivers/HGV licences and completing forms or certificates and writing letters. We are happy to provide these services but they do lie outside our NHS services and a fee will be charged. Fees are in line with BMA guidance and details are available from reception.
Specialist Clinics and Services
* Antenatal care - run with the midwife
* Baby clinics
* Asthma
* Diabetes
* Contraception - any of our doctors or nurses can advise you
* Those patients with conditions such as heart disease, kidney problems and blood pressure problems.
* Counselling - this needs a referral from the GP
* Travel clinic/vaccinations - please fill in details of your trip on the forms at reception - there is a fee for some services (please ask at reception)
* Flu vaccinations are usually available from October - you will be invited by letter.
